Living in Yamaguchi

Located at the western tip of Honshu in the Chugoku region of Japan is Yamaguchi Prefecture, with a population of 1.45 million people. Its largest city, Shimonoseki City has a population of 280,386 and is known as the fugu capital of Japan, as the majority of all fugu in Japan originate from here. There are many popular tourist attractions in Shimonoseki City, and it is a popular destination for tourists visiting Yamaguchi Prefecture.
