Located at the western tip of Honshu in the Chugoku region of Japan is Yamaguchi Prefecture, with a population of 1.45 million people. Its largest city, Shimonoseki City has a population of 280,386 and is known as the fugu capital of Japan, as the majority of all fugu in Japan originate from here.
