Dorayaki quickly became one of my favorite sweet treats in Japan many years ago, and convenience stores often have them in fun, seasonally inspired flavors like this sweet potato offering. The two pancakes have a filling of sweet potato paste and buttercream, so there's a nice combination of sweet-yet-salty flavors. The pancakes themselves are nice and fluffy, and price-wise I feel like it's fairly reasonable and roughly what I would have expected it to cost. Worth trying if you're a fan of sweet potato flavored goodies!

Although I did feel like the price was alright, I would have loved seeing it under the 200 yen mark -- maybe that's just a mental thing that it makes me feel like I'm getting a better deal, but hey. Overall though, this is a solid sweet treat that still manages to feel decently filling, and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet potato flavored things at this time of year or likes sweet/salty combo flavors. As it's a limited time thing I'd suggest heading into your nearest 7-11 sooner rather than later if it's a must-try for you. Happy eating, and enjoy!
