The good
If you like the combination of fruity and chocolatey flavors, this new banana chocolate donut available from Starbucks is worth trying out! All the bananas used for the donut are "mottanai bananas" (bananas that would otherwise go to waste), so it's very cool from an environmentally friendly standpoint, and the donut itself is also plant based, so if you're a vegan then you have a sweet treat you can enjoy! Along with the banana chocolate coating that you can see on the top of the donut, the inside also has a filling of banana chocolate cream, so it's quite indulgent-feeling! Portion size is decent, too.
The not so good
This is a bit pricier than your average convenience store or Mister Donut sweet treat, but in saying that I would say it's bigger than a lot of those donuts, too. Also, if you find yourself liking this one, it is only a limited-time thing, which is always a bit of a bummer. Starbucks are pretty great at releasing new flavors of donuts throughout the year, though, so there's undoubtedly going to be something yummy just around the corner.
