My son loves anything Pokemon themed, and since this year is the 30th anniversary of the game franchise, there are lots of themed items popping up here, there, and everywhere. Even McDonalds has hopped on the bandwagon with several menu items, including this Tartar Demi-glace Sausage Muffin which is available during their breakfast hours (until 10.30am). It consists of a sausage patty, cheese, lettuce, tartar sauce, and demiglace sauce, all on an English muffin. My son gave it the seal of approval, although that was probably heavily motivate by the packaging!

At the end of the day, the only thing "Pokemon-ish" about this is the wrapper, which ends up in the bin anyway. I think it would have been cool and fun to have Pokemon characters imprinted onto the English muffin, but I'm sure that wouldn't really be very practical. Also, it is just a limited time thing, so if you do find yourself really enjoying this product you only have a short window of time to get your hands on it. Head in to your nearest McDonalds store sooner rather than later if it's something that sounds like a must-try for you. Happy eating! :)
