As far as flavors that elicit summery feelings go, pineapple is a key one, to me at least! This new Okinawa Pineapple McFizz from McDonalds is a really refreshing beverage that actually contains 1% Okinawan pineapple juice, and it has a vibrant yellow hue to it which also makes me feel like it's an appropriate seasonal choice. You can get it on its own or pay a small amount extra to get it as a drink with a meal. There's also the option to get it topped with soft serve ice cream if you want something a little more indulgent (it's 380 yen for the McFloat version).

One key downside to this if you find yourself really enjoying it is that it's a summer limited item. I'm not 100% sure exactly when the cut off date will be, but if it sounds like something you want to try, I would suggest heading in to your nearest McDonalds store sooner rather than later. Also, it's more expensive than getting a carbonated drink at a convenience store or supermarket, which is something to keep in mind from a cost effectiveness point of view. Overall though, if you like pineapple flavored things then this is a fun one to try. Happy sipping! :)
