The good
If you love all things Halloween inspired, then the new Blackberry Yogurt Frappuccino from Starbucks will be right up your alley. There are two different versions of it -- the base drink itself is the same, but there's the option of getting black cat ears (dark chocolate) or white cat ears (white chocolate) on top of the drink. I think that's a nice touch for customization! The actual drink itself has a nice combination of sweet and sour flavors, so it feels quite balanced. It's also photogenic, which is nice if that's a factor in your purchasing decisions!
The not so good
The usual couple of gripes apply here. At 730 yen this is an expensive drink, and you can buy a whole meal for that price at a lot of places. Even when I find a seasonal frappuccino tasty, they're not things I would ever purchase more than once, and that's an indication of the price point. Also, if you *do* find yourself really loving it, it's only going to be around for a limited time. There's always the chance it might come back again around this time next year if it's popular enough, but that's never a guarantee. Be sure to head in to your nearest Starbucks store sooner rather than later if this sounds like a must-try item to you.
