The good
It wouldn't be (almost!!) autumn in Japan without all things Mont Blanc beginning to grace menus across the country, and this new Mont Blanc tart is welcoming the season at Tully's Coffee stores. It consists of a chestnut cream and salted caramel whipped cream on a tasty tart crust, and I think visually it looks quite nice even before you taste the product. On that note of taste, I feel like the balance of flavors is nice. You get a good blend of sweet with the salted caramel, so it doesn't feel cloying. It pairs very nicely with black coffee!
The not so good
Obviously one key downside with this is the fact that it's a limited time only thing. If you find yourself really enjoying it, the window to get your hands on it is pretty narrow. There's always the chance that they might bring it back around this time next year, but of course that's never a guarantee. Overall I would say this is a nice tart if you like anything chestnut flavored or salted caramel flavored, or you just feel like a very autumny-vibes dessert. Head in to your nearest Tully's Coffee store sooner rather than later if it sounds like a must-try item to you. Happy eating! :)
