Sweet potato donut season is back at Misdo

Autumn is one of my favorite times of year in Japan, largely because of all the seasonal eats that start appearing. And one of my favorites is back, Mister Donut's Sweet Potato Donuts!

They were released just yesterday, and this year the focus is on a thicker, fluffier dough and a cute shape resembling three little sweet potatoes joined together.

There are five varieties to try, including the simple Sweet Potato Donut, a stone-roasted sweet potato version, salted butter, sweet potato filled, and a crème brûlée-topped option. My family and I got all of them to share and sample, and I will review them shortly!
