Accessibility to Oi horse racing

Accessibility to Oi horse racing photo

After having a nice time on Haneda airport, my classmates and I headed to the Oi horse racing and took the monorail line. Honestly, I am never seen this line in my life, even though I have been in the Haneda airport for many years. Anyways, the monorail took us to the station close to the facility and the length of the commuting is very short and convenient. From the station to the horse racing is just a couple of minutes by walk. There are main gates where buses will be waiting for the customers to go back to the station near to them.

It is important to highlight that this bus usually cost money but on the day I used to go back to the station was free. And I think this can be a really incentive for foreigners and any other customers who want to come to the facility. The security staff in the gates are very kind and help us to find the bus we were supposed to take.

I am not aware if there are any other ways to access the facility but so far, I believe that there could be more ways to access the horse racing. For example, free shuttle from the Haneda airport to the facility, maybe once in a hour on day events and reservation for any other days. Another, way I believe could be attractive to the customers is private limousine. I believe many of the foreign visitors who come all the way from their countries to Japan anc want to bet in horse racing, are also willing and would love to enjoy exclusive treatment.

For those who arrive late in the morning and do not have a proper way to commute from airport to their hotel, I think there could be a website for private transportation reservation. This can be a gesture which would be appreciated it for all customers who do not want to spend their night in the airport.

Also, if there are not yet available, I think another way to attract customers is to put on service buses that depart from big stations like Yokohama, Shinagawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku and others to the Oi horse racing facility. Many of the foreigners who do sightseeing in Japan are constantly hanging out in Tokyo. And I honestly think, I would be one of those users, since I spent a lot of my free time in these places.
