The description
Daiso's own brand of products includes coffee brewing items. This pack of 70 coffee filters are made in Japan from unbleached paper. The capacity is 4-7 cups.
The good
I'm a habitual coffee drinker. To get my day started, I have a cup or two of joe. And if you read my blogs and reviews, you know that I do my best at the three Rs - reduce, reuse, and recycle. These filters are a compromise, a disposable paper product. But I think they're worth it. The filters are big enough to brew 4-7 cups of coffee, fitting a large-size coffee carafe holder, about 10 cm tall. They're made of unbleached paper. I get two to four smooth, flavourful cups of coffee from a few scoops.
The not so good
I have no complaints about this pack of 70 coffee filters. They're great value, as a comparable pack of coffee filters at the local supermarket costs double at 200 yen. The previous pack of Daiso coffee filters, small ones for one to two cups of coffee, were a fail! I found that they were so small, they'd slip out of the wire holder, which I also purchased at Daiso. So far, no mishaps with the larger filters. Note that you really ought to follow the package instructions. The edges of the filter are pressed together, so to avert failure, fold them firmly before you pour.
