Initially, somebody bought this product for my kids, and I loved it so much I have become a regular purchaser! It tastes so much like regular almond tofu jelly, which I am also a fan of. It feels like a proper dessert in a tiny convenient package. I like that there are ten in a pack. During the summer I would freeze them and throw a couple into my children's bento in the morning, which would not only help keep the konjac jelly cool, but also helped keep the bento cool too! Premium Cafe's annin konjac jelly really does feel like a "premium" jelly, with a really silky texture and delicious taste. I think a lot of people who like annindofu will like this product.

If you’re not a fan of annindofu’s distinctive almond aroma, this jelly may feel too perfumed or sweet. The flavor is strong and very specific, so it won’t appeal to everyone. And for those expecting a lighter fruit-style jelly, the creamy annin profile might seem unusual. I didn't print my receipt - doing my bit to reduce waste - and I can't remember the price exactly, but I have noticed the price varies greatly between supermarket and drug store chains. On average I think they cost around 200 yen, which isn't bad for ten individual jellies, working out at just 20 yen each. But it is more expensive than other options out there.
