Five Fun Minions Collaborations in Japan This Summer

With the Minions & Monsters movie hitting Japanese theaters on August 7th, 2026, Japan is rolling out a wave of Minions collaborations this summer. Here are five of the most fun and accessible ones.

1. Fujiya – Minions Sweets Everywhere

This is a huge collaboration, probably the largest of the summer, involving not only Fujiya snacks, but also their cake shop. Highlights include: 

• Country Ma’am (Vanilla & Choco Banana)
• Home Pie (Butter & Banana au Lait)
• Pop Candy (Ramune & Banana)
• Banana Chocolate
• Banana Milk Cookies
• Choco Banana Tart
• Minions Banana Roll Cake

2. St. Marc Café – Minions Chococro & Summer Sweets

St. Marc Café is already running a cheerful Minions collaboration featuring special-edition Chococro, Minions‑themed sweets and limited-edition packaging. You will find some of these reviewed on City-cost.

3. Prince Hotels – Minions Rooms & Afternoon Tea

Nine of the Prince Hotels across Japan are already offering Minions‑themed stays with full decorated Minions collaboration rooms. Some are also offering Minions and Monsters Afternoon Tea, others have special Minion lunch plates. In some hotels the collaboration is available until mid-September, others finish at the end of August.

4.  Yogibo – Minions Lifestyle Goods

The Yogibo Japan collaboration features Minions & Monsters for the Yogibo character cushions as well as a 10% storewide sale, and special campaigns as part of their Thanksgiving Festival 2026. This one ends on August 17th, 2026. 

5. Lawson Minions Lottery

The Lawson "Ichiban Kuji: Minions and Monsters" starts on August 1st, 2026. Prizes in the lottery are expected to include plushies, figures, themed goods and small accessories.
