This beef hamburger is one of many on the Coco's restaurant menu. They have a summer only line-up, but I think this particular one is a staple on their grand menu. I have had something similar in Gusto before, but the burger was served practically raw. I like that Coco's grill it to a safe level and still provide a sizzler plate so you can grill it even more if you prefer your steak burger well done. Not only is it safer, but it is also less time consuming than having to grill the whole burger one piece at a time (because the sizzler plate is small). Supposedly they use premium ground beef for this burger. I don't doubt it, as it tasted really good - but I am no expert. Moreover, it was juicy.

I think the price is very good, but some people might find it expensive considering the 990 yen price (before tax) is just for the steak burger and a small amount of vegetable. However, considering how expensive prime beef is in Japan, I think if anything its on the cheap side. If you are prepared to pay, you can order a set with rice, soup and drinks to make it a more filling meal. This particular juicy steak burger is only available at Coco's, but there are very similar dishes available at other family restaurant chains around Japan.
