The description
This product is a cup yakisoba noodle by Acecook. The Mishima Yukari Salt Yakisoba combines light salt-seasoned noodles with Yukari red shiso furikake.
The good
First and foremost, I got this product when it had a special promotion on, in Don Quijote. It was only 98 yen before tax (106 yen after tax), which is a bargain price for this type of cup noodle (yakisoba). I may have never of tried it if I hadn't seen it at such a cheap price - it encouraged me to try it. Note: you have to have the Majica App to get any discounts in Donki. I bought it for its convenience, as well as its bargain price. It is very easy to use. You simply just have to open the lid halfway, remove the seasoning packets, and add hot water to the fill line. Wait 3 minutes, drain the water through the lid, then mix in the liquid sauce and Yukari seasoning before serving.
The not so good
Yakisoba in a cup really isn't my thing, but I have no regrets I tried this product. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't buy it at its regular price. I believe it is more than 200 yen, nearer to 300 yen, usually. I got this product so cheap because there wasn't much shelf-life left on it. I like to have some cup noodle type products in my pantry in case of an emergency, but because the expiry date was coming up, I didn't buy more than one. At the price, I would have loved to have bought 6 (one for each of the family) for the emergency kit! Overall, while I wouldn't buy it at its full price, if I see it again at such a discounted price, I would probably buy it again.
