The description
This product is a pack of two Crayon Shin-chan Chocobi themed 'bang' clips designed to not leave marks in the hair. The images are puffy, acrylic type.
The good
Bang clips are all the rage and I just couldn't resist these cute and fun Crayon Shinchan themed ones. I did not buy them for myself, I bought them for my daughter, who loves them. She finds them better than the bang clips available at the 100 yen store, which she claims do actually leave a mark in your hair. She uses them for washing her face and not as a fashion product. But they are cute and colorful enough to be used as a fashion product too. The designs have a lovely polish to them and thanks to the puffiness and colors they really stand out. There is a notable quality difference between these clips and the ones available in the 100 yen store.
The not so good
However, the price tag seems expensive, because you can get bang clips at the 100 yen store. However, the ones at the 100 yen store aren't as good at doing what they were designed to. Furthermore, they are not as cute! Moreover, the Don Quijote price is cheaper than a lot of other places, including online, where they cost 770 yen. At Donki they cost 700 yen before tax. I don't know how widely available this particular design is, but I did find some on sale on Amazon. As above, they were marginally more expensive, but if you can't find them in a local store at least you can buy them online. Because of the large decorative character pieces attached to the clips, they can also feel slightly bulky compared with plain clips. This is not a major problem for short-term use during skincare or makeup application, but some people may find them less comfortable for prolonged wear outside the home.
