Komeda Coffee's Pure Chestnut Cream Cake is a really nice seasonal option for anyone who enjoys the flavor of chestnuts. It's rich and sweet, and has that familiar autumnal taste that works really well alongside a hot coffee. I like that Komeda brings back familiar seasonal favorites each year, as it gives customers something to look forward to when the weather starts cooling down. At 530 yen, it's a nice way to enjoy a taste of the season, and I didn't think the value was too bad for what you get. The portion size is pretty generous and definitely enough to share with someone, in my opinion!

While the chestnut flavor is appealing, this one might be a little too sweet for anyone who prefers lighter desserts. The chestnut cream can also be quite rich, so it's not necessarily something you'd want to eat a lot of in one sitting (that's why I definitely recommend it as a shared dessert!).
