Komeda's Floral Chocolate Mousse is a nice treat for any chocolate lovers out there. The mousse has a lovely smooth texture and a rich cocoa flavor, but I liked that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. There's a nice depth to the chocolate that makes it feel a little more sophisticated than your everyday chocolate mousse, which is also a win in my book. I particularly liked how easily it went down, with a melt-in-your-mouth consistency that made it a good accompaniment to a coffee. At ¥530, it's a reasonable little indulgence if you're stopping by a Komeda Coffee store and fancy something sweet.

While I enjoyed the chocolate flavor, this isn't necessarily the most exciting dessert on Komeda's menu. If you prefer exciting textures in your desserts of choice, you might also find that this item isn't particularly memorable. I would have liked a little more variety in the dessert itself, as the smooth consistency can become a bit one-note by the end. At ¥530 for a single serving, it's not exactly a bargain either. It's enjoyable enough, but I wouldn't necessarily make a special trip to Komeda just to order it. Nevertheless, head in to your local store if it sounds like something you'd enjoy. Happy eating! :)
