A fancier-feeling offering from Yoshinoya, but is it value for money?

I don't think Yoshinoya is really ever thought of as a "luxury" eating option, but their new Exquisite Beef Bowl tries to position them as such! It's a bit of a fancier-feeling gyudon meal set, with domestically produced beef coated in a special sukiyaki sauce, green onions, and shirataki noodles, all served in a nice bento box. The meat is a more fatty kind, so if you like that then you'll probably like this! The amount of food you get is pretty generous, too. While it's more expensive than your usual gyudon I think it's fun to try out at least once.

As I mentioned above in the positive features section, the beef in this is towards the more fatty side of things. I know some people really enjoy that, but if you prefer leaner meat options then you probably won't be a fan. Also, this is substantially more expensive than a usual gyudon bowl, and I don't know that it was that much more "exquisite"! Maybe I just have rather basic tastes, but I think I'd prefer to save my yen and get the original gyudon which is just as satisfying. In saying that, if it sounds appealing to you then give it a try!
