The last of the year's sansai?

I got these lovely kogomi (a type of sansai, or mountain vegetable) from my neighbor this weekend. She's an avid forager and I've been with her on several occasions to pick mountain veggies locally. It's probably going to be the last of the year's pickings, though, since they're usually an April through May thing. 

Being able to get veggies like this, for free, is such a cool thing, and not something that's done in my home country. If you know where to look, it can be a good way to save a bit of cash.
