Functional, the built in pads are annoying though

This is a nicely made sports bra/crop top from the Beams School brand, and it has several good things going for it. It has a nice stretch to it and has a soft feeling fabric (it's mainly cotton at 65%), so I think it's relatively breathable, too. It does come in a range of colors, not just black -- there's also grey and a baby blue color if you prefer those, or just like the style and want a bit of variety. It does have removable padding in it too, if that's something you consider/prefer when buying these sorts of items. Price wise I would say it's okay, not a bargain but not exorbitant either.

As I mentioned above, there is removable padding in this item. The pads were so oddly placed that I just removed them for my daughter, I think they would have been more annoying than helpful. It also says online that this is a handwash only item, but I have put it in the machine with no apparent issues -- I just pop it in a delicates bag and haven't encountered any troubles. Overall, a useful item that seems well made, but I would yank out those awkwardly placed removable pads since they don't really add anything to the garment.
