You've gotta hand it to Japan's coffee chains for having some pretty fabulous value for money morning sets, which are extra nice when you want to sit down somewhere and not just eat convenience store food on the go. This Smoked Chicken & Tomato option from Doutor is easy on the wallet, and you get a slice of thick cut toast topped with a chunky tomato mix, chicken pieces, and cheese (it's basically like a toast pizza!) along with a coffee for only 590 yen. It feels filling and still reasonably healthy...to me this is more like something I would make at home rather than a fast food option that feels heavy and greasy, so it gets some bonus points there!

I don't know if this is a limited time option, as I hadn't seen it at Doutor until a recent visit. It will be a bummer if it is, as I would purchase this again if I was in need of a warm breakfast and coffee at a good price. Overall, I think this is a great value option if you're out and about but still want to get something to eat. It's also handy since you can find Doutor branches just about anywhere you go here, so you shouldn't have to go scouring far to find a store near you.
