Barometric pressure and headaches in Japan
I've suffered from headaches that I can recall back to my teen years, and I pretty much had always assumed they were hormonally-related until living here. Of course, some of them probably are, but there's another factor here that often weighs in. Barometric pressure is something I find also contributes, and if you're interested in trying to line up your headaches to when they occur I recommend checking out the weathernews.jp/pain site.
It actually includes a graph by region, and has four different color-coded "watch levels" -- blueish green means you should be fine, and red means be vigilant for headaches. For example, the screenshot below was one I took back in late May when I had a whopping headache.
As you can see, pretty much the whole country was struggling at that point, probably with the buildup of air pressure thanks to rainy season's impending arrival.
Contrast that to today when I'm feeling fine, and you can see the country map is looking a lot more manageable (sorry, though, for folks in Tokyo!)
If you suffer from headaches, have you ever considered barometric pressure to be a potential cause?

Thanks, I like that this isn't an app you need to register for. It also has local area information as specific as your city, info for every three hours, and weekly forecasts. I have considered air pressure to be one of the causes of my headaches and migraines, but it's definitely not the only one. For me skipping meals (or eating just carbs) and stress seem to be the biggest factors.
