The good
I'm always happy to see teriyaki on a burger menu in Japan, and pairing it with crispy fried chicken is a safe bet that a lot of people will enjoy it! The chicken thigh patty is a big plus, as it's juicier than your average chicken breast burger while still giving you that crunch because of the outer coating. Price wise, it's under 500 yen on its own, which I'd say feels fairly decent given that it's quite filling. Getting it as part of a meal is also an option if you want the fries and drink to go with it.
The not so good
The biggest downside is that the Teriyaki Chicken Juicy Mac is a limited-time offering, so anyone who really takes a liking to it might be disappointed when it disappears from the menu. McDonald's Japan is always rotating its seasonal burgers, which is great for keeping things interesting but frustrating when a new favorite doesn't stick around! I also think the use of chicken thigh could be a drawback for some people. If you prefer leaner chicken or just a more familiar chicken fillet burger, this one might not be your cup of tea.
