Tulips at Echigo Hillside Park are at their best!

If you want to enjoy the tulips at Echigo Hillside Park, I highly recommend a visit this week if you are nearby to the Nagaoka area. They are looking absolutely fabulous, and I think it's so much easier to go now than it is to wait until Golden Week when it gets much more jam-packed with people.

I also don't know how they will be looking by Golden Week, since it's quite warm out here today (unseasonably so!) and they are already very much looking like they are at peak bloom.

The picture above is only part of the park (there are so many more tulips to enjoy!), but I loved how it was giving off a very "Netherlands" vibe with the windmill.
