Frog season!

I love the rainy season for the abundance of beautiful flowers, but it's also a fun time for animal spotting, specifically frogs in our local area! If you get up close to a lot of plants and flowers, you can often find these cuties hiding away on the leaves.

You do have to pay attention, though, since they camouflage in pretty well a lot of the time!

My home country has over 200 different species of frogs, but I have never seen one in the wild there in my life! I think maybe it's further up north in the tropical areas of Australia where they have them. It's probably why I still find it to be such a novelty when I see them here!
