A temple moving with the times

One of my favorite local temples is Josenji in Uonuma, since they have some really cool illustrated goshuin and fun hanachozu throughout the year. One thing I noticed on a recent visit though was that they now also have a QR code on a piece of marble, and it directs to their social media account. 

I remember seeing an article by BigFamJapan about cashless options at shrines using things like PayPay, but it's not often that I see shrines or temples with a QR code directing users to their Instagram! 

Do any of your local shrines or temples keep much of an online presence? I'm quite curious now as to how widespread it is!
