Before even getting in to the taste of this drink, I think it's quite a visually appealing beverage! The cup itself has a very tropical feel to it (I think it's a hibiscus flower printed on it!) and once the cup is full with the drink I feel like it's rather beachy-looking thanks to the blue and clear colors it incorporates. Flavor-wise, this is lovely and refreshing, with an apple taste to it -- and the ice cream adds a bit of creaminess to it. If you don't want ice cream, you can just get the soda and it's cheaper at only 300 yen. Definitely a fun release for the summer season!

As is the case with all limited time offerings, you only have a short window of time to get your hands on this. I'm not 100% sure how long it's supposed to be around for, but I would recommend heading in to your nearest McDonalds store while you can if it sounds like a must-try for you. In saying that, they do a pretty good job of releasing various fun McFloat flavors throughout the year, so even if you miss out on this one there's probably another good flavor just around the corner! ;) I hope that if you give this a go you also end up enjoying it -- McDonalds also has several other items in this Hawaiian range, including burgers, a breakfast muffin, and a sour cream and onion "shaka shaka" fries seasoning.
