Spooky season coming to convenience stores

I feel like Halloween-themed items have really been growing in popularity here over recent years, from actual costume supplies to snacks and lots of bits and pieces in between. I saw these cupcakes this week at my local Family Mart, and while not explicitly Halloween themed, the color scheme definitely fits!

I also thought it was pretty cool that they incorporate seasonal produce (kabocha and purple sweet potato).
