Fun kakigori for Pokemon fans

Komeda Coffee stores have a fun Pokemon-themed range at the moment. We tried out their Slowpoke shiro noir a little while back, and more recently tried this mango flavored kakigori which comes with a Psyduck (Koduck in Japanese) pick on top. The base product just comes with the mango shaved ice (1100 yen), but you can add soft cream and/or condensed milk for an additional fee. Flavor-wise I feel like the mango is a good fit for summer, and the addition of the Psyduck pick did add an element of cuteness and fun to what would otherwise be a pretty standard shaved ice product.

The only real "Pokemon" thing with this product is the pick on top of the kakigori, so it does feel a bit like you're paying a premium price for a small flourish. In saying that, I do think it's fun if you're a Pokemon fan, the portion was pretty generous (definitely shareable) and the flavor was good, so overall it's not too bad when you consider it's a multi-person dessert.
