If you like beefy flavored chips with a real umami taste, these limited time Calbee chips are delicious. They incorporate wagyu beef powder as their key seasoning, and because they're a crinkle cut chip they hold onto that seasoning really well. While the price was a smidge higher than other similar-sized bags of chips on store shelves, I did feel that these were packaged as a more premium, grown up product. The imagery on the front of the bag of the sliced wagyu certainly made it feel like they were marketed to a different demographic.

The thing I'm most disappointed about with these chips is that they're a limited time only product! I loved the taste, and want to stock up on a few more bags to sock away for when the craving hits. As I mentioned above, they were priced a little higher than a lot of other similar sized potato chips on store shelves, but not excessively so -- and I do feel that these were just a more appealing product overall. If you like beef flavored chips, I definitely recommend having a look for these at your nearest convenience store while you can!
