The description

This product is the new Dragonite's Shiro Noir Custard Pudding, and it's a limited time offering from Komeda Coffee stores. The mini size was 1080 yen including tax, you can also get the regular size if you wish.

The good

If you have any interest in Pokemon, or you just enjoy cute eats, this new Dragonite's Shiro Noir Custard Pudding from Komeda Coffee is worth trying out! It comes in both the regular or the mini size, so you can tailor what you purchase to your appetite. For this one, the usual shiro noir danish comes topped with a pudding flavored sauce, soft serve ice cream, and a caramel sauce. The flavors and textures all work really well together for what is a delicious treat, and the Dragonite pick on the side makes it a bit more fun and photogenic!

The not so good

Compared to the usual shiro noir price, this product feels quite pricey in comparison. Just so we're comparing, the "usual" shiro noir in mini size costs 540 yen at my nearest Komeda store. This one is double that, so you're basically just paying a premium for the cute factor. Even though this was thoroughly delicious, I don't think it's worth the price, and I wouldn't purchase it again based on the cost alone. If you can justify the price tag, you're a Pokemon fan, and you like custard flavored things, I would say this is worth trying once (but once only because it's exorbitant!). Head in to your nearest Komeda store while you can if it's a must-try for you.
