The good
If you already like Komeda Coffee's classic Shiro Noir product, this new item is a fun spin on the original. It consists of a cocoa-flavored Baumkuchen, topped with the usual soft serve ice cream and a drizzle of condensed milk. I really liked the combination of flavors, I found it to be sweet without being cloying, and the portion size is pretty generous too. I think based on those points it's pretty decent value for a cafe dessert, and it's big enough to be shared between two people in my opinion.
The not so good
One key downside with this product is that it's a limited time only offering. If you find yourself really enjoying it, the window to get your hands on it is pretty narrow. If it does sound like a must-try item to you, I would recommend heading in to your nearest Komeda Coffee store sooner rather than later to enjoy it. Overall, this is a nice dessert that has a good mix of flavors, and I would happily recommend it to anyone who already enjoys the usual Shiro Noir product but is looking for something new to try.
