If you're an adult that grew up with Gameboy games in your youth, you might recognize this Mario Vs. Donkey Kong game. This remake is based off the 2004 original, but the version for Switch was only released in February this year. There are two main ways of playing the game, with the "Classic" mode basically like the OG version, and "casual" mode a little more relaxed since it takes away the time limit. I definitely appreciate the casual mode with kids in the house, as it makes playing the game much more chill! The price wasn't too bad either for a release that only came out a short time ago.

As an adult I would say that most of the gameplay is pretty easy for this -- maybe too easy for adults and even kids that are experienced with how to play Switch games. It's still a ton of fun, but if you're looking for a game that is a bit more challenging then this might not be the right choice for you. Some people might appreciate that about the game, though! Overall though, plenty of fun -- and it's great for the nostalgia aspect, too. It definitely has transported my husband and I back to our youth a little bit. Hope you have fun with it if you also end up purchasing it!
