As a fan of spinach I was intrigued by this new cup noodle offering at 7-11! The broth has a chicken base plus milk for some richness/creaminess, and the amount of spinach it comes topped with is VERY generous -- so much so that almost the entire top of the noodles is covered with it when you add the boiling water in. Like all cup noodle products this is quick to prepare, and the price is quite reasonable at only 170 yen including tax. I think this is a nice cup noodle product if you are looking for a sneaky way to get some extra greens into your diet!

This probably isn't the best product for the folks out there who aren't huge fans of green stuff, but that's evident even from the imagery on the packaging -- there are no surprises, since what you get looks basically identical to the photo used. Overall though, I thought this was a nice deviation from most cup noodle products since it really packed in the greens, and the rich, creamy broth felt very suitable for this time of year. I imagine it's probably a limited time only product, so keep an eye out for it at your nearest 7-11 if it sounds appealing to you. Happy eating, and enjoy!
