As far as indulgent desserts go, this is a really good one! It has an almost ganache-style texture to it, and melts in your mouth. The portion size is pretty generous, too, and because it's a very rich-feeling dessert I don't think you need to eat a ton of it to feel satisfied, so it's very easy to share with someone else. Price-wise, I don't feel like it's too bad either. I wouldn't say it's priced so low that I would call it a bargain, but I didn't feel like it was exorbitantly priced for the quality, either. I would call it reasonable, all things considered!

This is less cake and more ganache-feeling, so if you're looking for a more cakey option then this won't be the right pick for you. There are lots of other items on the Starbucks menu to choose from, though, so you won't struggle finding something sweet to enjoy. Overall, I thought this was a really delicious sweet treat, as did my husband who I split this with. Keep an eye out for it at your nearest Starbucks store if you like dense, chocolatey desserts and melt in your mouth textures. Happy eating, and enjoy!! :)
