If you're looking for a warm kids boot option similar to Uggs (but without the expensive Ugg price tag!), these boots from the Oriental Traffic brand on Amazon Japan are a great option. They're under 3000 yen (the prices do fluctuate a bit, but I haven't seen them go over that price) and they're ultra warm, soft, and snuggly-feeling inside. I ordered the black colorway for my child, but they had a whole host of other colors including pink, grey, and camel to name just a few. They also had them in sizes from 15.0 to 20.0.

One key point to note is that these aren't waterproof. If you live somewhere snowy like we do, they are still great as indoor boots, especially with cold floors in certain rooms of the house during winter! I think you can buy treatments for ugg-style boots to waterproof them, but it might not be worth the price. The black color also picks up a lot of dust, so if you want something that stays looking a bit cleaner you might want to opt for one of the other colors. That aside though, they're great, warm, and reasonably priced boots especially when compared to higher-priced brands like Ugg. I'm happy with what I paid for these, and would happily buy them again in the future once my child sizes up from these.
