Slow start to the year

It's been a slow start for me to the new year this year. In my home country it's summertime, and I feel like it's much easier there to hit the new year running with goals and so forth. I know a lot of people set resolutions for things like being more active, which feels pretty unappealing when it looks like this in the mornings...

I also feel like the extended break over the new year period gets me into a bit of a lazy, hibernation mode. Work resumed this week, but I'd be lying if I said I've hit the ground running with excitement and enthusiasm. I just want to stay cozied up and read, or something!

I didn't actually set any defined goals for this year, either. Typically I see the new year as a chance to set those "big" aspirations, but I didn't get around to that before the year began. Maybe that's what is making me feel a bit slower and dare I say it, unmotivated, so I might try to remedy that soon.

Did you set any goals for the new year? Do you find it hard to get back into a routine after the new year's break?
