The year of Pokemon

It has felt like a very good year to be a Pokemon fan in Japan! I feel like so many places have had collaborations to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise, and I am sure there is still plenty more to come!

For instance, there's the Pokemon-themed collaboration going on at Baskin Robbins right now (until the end of August), with a bunch of fun items on offer.

McDonalds have also jumped on the bandwagon with several different themed burgers with wraps featuring classic Pokemon like Pikachu and Squirtle.

Pino got on board, too, with fun packaging for their classic ice cream product.

I am sure there are more that I can't think of right now, but those are a few that I have encountered recently!
