Pompompurin wins Sanrio character awards

If you're a fan of Sanrio, you may have already seen that Pompompurin was officially crowned the Sanrio character awards winner for 2026. The press release for the winners came out just yesterday, and rounding out the top three were Cinnamoroll and Pochacco.

This year's competition was the biggest yet, attracting a record-breaking 70.6 million votes, and that was up 12% from last year.

My household definitely appreciates Pompompurin's cuteness, so we think he was a worthy winner!
