The description

This product is a Hojicha shake, and it's available at Zetteria (formerly Lotteria) stores. The medium was 340 yen, but it also comes in small size if you'd prefer.

The good

Zetteria's Hojicha Shake is a fun way to try a distinctly Japanese flavor in milkshake form. Hojicha is also known as roasted green tea and it has a toasty and slightly nutty flavor that makes a nice change from your usual chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry shake options. I think it's a good choice for anyone who enjoys Japanese tea and wants something a little different from the standard fast-food menu. Another plus is the choice of two sizes, with the small costing ¥250 and the medium ¥340. You can try it as a little treat without committing to a larger drink!

The not so good

Hojicha has a pretty distinctive flavor that won't appeal to everyone. Unlike sweeter and more familiar milkshake flavors, hojicha has an earthy, roasted taste that might not be what you're after if you prefer more stock standard options! As a tea lover, though, I thought this was fabulous, and I definitely appreciate you can get it in a small or a medium at such a reasonable price. Head in to your nearest Zetteria store soon if it sounds like a must-try item to you -- happy drinking, and enjoy! :)
