The description

This product is a soy latte, and it's on the regular Tully's menu so you can get it at any time of the year. It comes in the full lineup of sizes, the grande was 620 yen.

The good

Even though I do drink dairy milk, I often find myself gravitating more towards plant-based milks when they're available at cafes. This soy latte is available on the Tully's menu year-round, and it's great for a few reasons. First of all, I really like the taste. The soy milk gives the latte a nice earthiness of flavor, and I actually think I prefer soy milk over dairy milk in coffees for that reason. Second, you can get this in the full lineup of sizes (short, tall, and grande), and you can also opt for hot or iced. Personally I prefer iced at this time of year when it's still quite sauna-like outside, but when the weather is cooler a hot drink is lovely.

The not so good

Obviously the cost of the product is a bit of a downside, if I was making a coffee at home and just adding a splash of soy milk to it, it would cost a fraction of the price that Tully's charge. In saying that, I often sit and work at my local Tully's, so I consider the price of any food and drinks as almost an "admission ticket" fee so I justify it that way! Overall, this is a nice, mainstream option for anyone who wants a plant-based milk option for their coffee, and I love that it's always available and you can get it hot or iced. Happy drinking, and enjoy! :)
