Sky Week Reflections of living at an Air Base in Japan

One of the coolest things about my time living at an air force base here in Japan was that you got to see a range of different aircraft all the time! There was no waiting for things like air shows and the like, you'd see it all as part of your regular daily life. 

Here's a good example! This photo was of a Korean F-16 which had maintenance problems and landed at the base. It was a particularly clear day, and if you look in the middle left part of the photo, you'll see none other than Mount Fuji.

Getting to see Fuji from the base on a fairly regular basis was also something I always looked forward to.
