Takada Castle Park shines in autumn, too

Takada Castle Park in Joetsu is known here in Niigata as one of the prefecture's top sakura spots, and with good reason -- it's beautiful there in the springtime. In saying that, I think it's equally as lovely in the autumn months, and I would suggest a visit there during this time of year.

Although there were still a reasonable number of people there over the weekend, I wouldn't say it was anywhere near as busy as sakura season gets, so if you're not a fan of big crowds that's another plus!
