The description

This product is a chocolate and raspberry doramochi (chewy textured dorayaki) which is a collab between Lawson's Uchi Cafe and Godiva. It was 376 yen including tax.

The good

This is an interesting doramochi (chewy dorayaki) which combines the flavors of both chocolate and raspberry. I wasn't sure how I'd like it, but it was surprisingly good -- I liked the fresh/tart flavors of the raspberry against the rich tasting chocolate. Usually I'm not the biggest fan of mixing fruit with chocolate, but this was actually pretty good. It's nicely presented, too, with the Godiva logo embossed into the dorayaki outer. I thought that made it look like a premium, high-quality product.

The not so good

This has got to be the most expensive dorayaki I've purchased in my life, and although it was tasty, it honestly wasn't that much different (in my opinion) to your regular run of the mill convenience store branded one. While it was fun to try, and I appreciated getting to enjoy a Godiva product from a convenience store, there's no way I'd repurchase it again -- and that's solely a price-based critique, not a taste-based one! Because of the not great value for money aspect, I can only rate the product three out of five stars overall.
