I like having a couple of planners coming into a new year -- typically one for work-related things, and one for regular life/family related things. I really found the functionality of my Hobonichi weeks to be excellent for 2024, so I purchased two different cover designs for 2025. This one is designed by Yumi Kitagishi, a Tokyo-based illustrator known for some adorably whimsical art -- and this cover doesn't disappoint in the cuteness realm. There is imagery of flowers, birds, hearts, and cats, and it just makes me so happy to look at! The planner comes in EN or JP versions (I personally like the EN because there are quotes on each weekly section that I like reading, and my Japanese is only so-so), but I appreciate that you can choose either. The layout is functional since you can see the entire week at a glance, and I like that it's quite compact so it's easy to take on-the-go.

If you have a lot of stuff to write down each day (appointments, work projects, etc) or you just prefer one planner to catch everything, you might find that this one lacks the amount of space you need -- it's probably part of why I end up getting two of them and separate my tasks into work and regular life ones. Overall though, this is a great planner if you like compact, week-to-page options, and especially if you're a fan of cute designs. There are quite a few cover choices for the Hobonichi weeks planner in 2025, so I recommend having a browse on Amazon to see what strikes your fancy.
