The description

This product is a two pack of Creme Brulee, and it's available from 7-11 convenience stores at the moment. It was priced at 429 yen (including tax).

The good

If you appreciate desserts that are already in a ready to share format with no preparation needed, this Creme Brulee option from 7-11 is super convenient! It comes in a two pack, and comes frozen -- so you can fully thaw it, or have it in a half-frozen state to make it more of an ice cream style treat. The portion size is about cupcake size, so it's nice if you don't want a massive dessert. I appreciated that it wasn't huge, because I'm sure if it was then I would have kept eating. The custardy-caramel flavor combination was really delicious, and it was nice being able to get Creme Brulee from a convenience store!

The not so good

For a mass-produced convenience store dessert that realistically isn't very big, I do think this felt a bit overpriced at over 400 yen. Yes, you do get two individually portioned Creme Brulee servings, but even then I don't know that it's worth that price tag. I think around 350 yen would have felt a lot more reasonable, but I also understand that the price of everything is still going up so maybe that's just a sign of the times. Still, it's tasty, and enjoying it semi-frozen makes for a really nice hot weather treat. Keep an eye out for it at your local 7-11 if it sounds appealing to you!
