If you're a fan of teriyaki chicken burgers, this new version takes things up a notch! The combination of the sweet and savory teriyaki sauce with two types of cheese makes for a satisfying bite. I liked how the cheese added a creamy and slightly salty element to the burger, which balanced out the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce nicely. The chicken patty is juicy, and the combo of flavors makes this feel like a more indulgent take on the regular Teriyaki Chicken Juicy Mac. I would say it's a very a welcome addition to the McDonald's Japan menu if you can't get enough cheese.

While I enjoyed the combo of the teriyaki sauce and cheese, I did find the burger quite rich, particularly towards the end. The sweet teriyaki sauce and two types of cheese make for quite a flavor-packed combination, but they can also compete for attention a little bit, rather than just letting the chicken shine. It's also not necessarily the tidiest burger to eat, with the sauce and melted cheese making things a bit messy. Not one I'd eat if I was on a work lunch break, for instance! That said, my main criticism is that it's a little on the indulgent side for an everyday burger. I'd happily eat it again, but perhaps not too frequently!
