This new Pikachu Honey Cream Latte just came out at Starbucks stores yesterday, but I think it's going to be one of their most popular drinks to date. Before even getting into the taste of the drink, I feel like it's very "Pikachu" looking -- the yellow and brown tones, plus the cute heart-shaped sprinkles on top (to emulate those rosy cheeks) are fun. Taste-wise, I really liked this too. The honey/caramel and coffee flavors work together nicely for a drink that is sweet but not overwhelmingly so. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes coffee and caramel flavors, or just coffee-loving Pokemon fans!

A few downsides to note, but mainly about the product availability and pricing. If you find yourself really enjoying this, then obviously there's the issue of it being a limited-time only thing. That's always a bit of a bummer when something is delicious but you know it's going to disappear! Also, at 690 yen for an iced latte, it's basically on-par with frappuccinos. I think it's priced this way because they know Pokemon fans will buy it, but I do think it's very much a "one and done" based on the price point alone. Still, give it a go if you like the sounds of the flavor or you're a Pokemon fan!
