The good
If you enjoy your frappuccinos on the refreshing, fruity side rather than the heavy, chocolatey side, this new option from Starbucks is a tasty one to try. It contains both cantaloupe/rockmelon and honeydew melon, making for a fun visual appearance with their respective orange and green hues. It's not just melon flavoring that's included, either -- there are actual chunks of melon pulp in the drink, so it's fun for a textural thing. The whipped cream topping makes the whole drink feel more indulgent if you mix it through.
The not so good
There's no denying it -- this is a really pricey drink, hitting the 700 yen mark. That's the price for a full meal at a lot of places, so I can never justify buying these more than once. Also, while I find cantaloupe and honeydew melon okay, I wouldn't say they're my favorite fruits anyway. They do seem quite popular here, though! Overall, I'd say it's worth trying once if you're a big fan of cantaloupe or honeydew melons, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it if you have a fairly neutral feeling towards them -- especially based on the price!
